The reasons to come to therapy are as varied and different as the people who come to therapy. Some of the reasons people come to therapy is to help them get through a tough time, their life is going through some kind of transition, they feel guilty, they are grieving, they have anxiety and don’t know what to do with it, they feel depressed, or they can’t sit still long enough to finish their homework or pay attention at work.

Or maybe you and your spouse are going through a tough time and you find you are not able to communicate unless you are fighting with each other. If you are a parent and you are at a place where you need some advice on how to handle this phase of life for your children.

If you any of these seem like they might be you, therapy is for you.

I work with individuals who need help to work through their struggles or who need to heal from experiences they have had. I work with couples who are trying to save their marriage and recapture the excitement and love they once felt for each other. I work with parents need more ideas or strategies on how to do this parenting thing. Some specific diagnoses work with are ADHD, ODD, depression, anxiety, stress management, anger management, obsessive thoughts, and compulsive behaviors.

Reach out and see if therapy may be right for you.
